Thank you for your interest in the A-Line Airport Shuttle!
Please see the information below for a description of our service. If you have questions, want to make a reservation, or need to let us know you're at our pick-up point, just give us a call: 303-420-2589
When does the shuttle operate? The shuttle departs from the Olde Town Arvada Park-n-Ride every hour on the hour between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. for the 35-40 minute trip to DIA. Departures from DIA returning to the Olde Town Arvada Park-n-Ride are ten minutes before the hour between 6:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m., with the last shuttle held until 9:05 p.m. The shuttle operates on the same schedule seven days a week and on all holidays.
No reservations are needed for the A-Line shuttle, but are encouraged near holidays to help us in our service planning. Regardless of reservation status, all passengers will be accommodated. No one is ever turned away!
Where do I go for the shuttle? In Arvada, the A-Line will pick up and drop off passengers at the RTD Olde Town Arvada Park-n-Ride located at 5565 Wadsworth Bypass, just north of W. 55th Avenue.
At DIA, the first pick-up point is located on Level 5 East at Door 505, Island 3. This is on the same level as baggage claim and Door 505 is near the Frontier Airlines baggage claim area. The shuttle departs the east side at ten minutes before each hour (except for the last run) and proceeds immediately to the west side, stopping only long enough to pick up passengers waiting on Level 5 West at Door 512, Island 3. This is again on the same level as baggage claim and Door 512 is near the United Airlines baggage claim area. (Note: If you're cutting it close at DIA and might just miss the van to Arvada, call us at (303)420-2589 before we depart and, if possible, we'll hold for a short time.)
What is the cost for the A-Line Shuttle? The cost per one-way trip is $13 per passenger, with a senior (62+) and student (with a valid student ID) price of $10. Roundtrip fares are $22 and $18 respectively. Children 6 and under ride free. Tickets may be purchased from the shuttle driver with cash at the time of the trip. Exact change is preferred, as shuttle drivers may not carry change. Monthly passes are also available at a cost of $120, and ten trip ticket books are available for $90.
Monthly passes and ten packs are available for purchase from any driver, or during business hours at the Arvada City Hall cashier, located in the City's Annex (the building next to the Post Office) at 58th and Allison Street. Monthly passes may be purchased with cash or check, and Ride Provide will also honor commuter check vouchers from employers. Note that the A-Line shuttle is not a part of the RTD SkyRide System. SkyRide tickets or passes, such as those that are purchased in advance at area grocery stores, are not valid for A-Line travel.
Same Day Return/Escort Discount - We don't charge twice in the same day! So, for example, if your flight is cancelled, you ride back free. We've found that some folks take advantage of this policy to ride out to greet or send off their guest. If that is your plan, request a receipt from the shuttle driver when you accompany a traveler to or from DIA and on the return trip present the receipt to the driver for free transport back to the Olde Town Arvada Park-n-Ride. This offer only applies to transport that takes place on the same day.
